Lepton Luncheon Club meets fortnightly on a Tuesday from 1230. A reasonably priced, two-course meal and cup of tea are served to about 30 pensioners, with a special meal at Christmas. It is aimed at older people who are housebound and need transport, and those who are isolated and appreciate the company.

Lepton Community Library meets on Thursday morning from 1000 to 1200.

We have a wide range of books for information and leisure; and for children of all ages to enjoy. We hold special events for children during school holidays. Visitors will find a place to relax, read, and study and also a warm welcome from friendly volunteers. Membership is free. We look forward to seeing you!

Lepton Community Link seeks to improve Lepton for its residents. We work closely with our local Kirklees Councillors, Kirkburton Parish Councillors, the Community Police, the Community Ranger, the Youth Service, the Churches and other organisations in the village.

Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of alternate months at 1915. The minutes and date and time of the next meeting are displayed in the village notice-board. All residents and representatives from organisations are welcome to attend and raise issues which need addressing.
